Strength & Conditioning Coach
ASCA Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach
Main interests: Swimmers, rugby and field sport athletes, youth athlete development, strength and power development, return to performance, and getting athletes back to doing what they love.
I completed my Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at ACU before going on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Strength and Conditioning. My career has spanned high-performance rugby at Randwick Rugby Club, where I served as Head of Rehabilitation and Head S&C Coach for the Women’s Sevens and XVs program, and Lead S&C at Scots College Sydney working with youth athletes.
Most recently I have been working within elite aquatic performance on the Gold Coast across TSS Aquatics and St Hilda’s Aquatics, while also serving as an S&C coach within the Queensland Academy of Sport. This chapter culminated in contributing to two Paralympic qualifications and a World Record at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games with athlete Alexa Leary.
I believe that training should serve both performance and enjoyment, and that the best results come from understanding the whole person, not just the presenting problem. Whether working with elite athletes or youth athletes, that philosophy stays the same.
Outside of work I am an early morning trainer, a proud uncle, and still happiest when I’m either coaching or near the ocean.
