About me:
I grew up in Tasmania and have always been involved in sport from a young age. I tried a range of different sports growing up, but swimming ended up being the main one I stuck with and developed the most in.
When I was around eight years old, I started competing in swimming, and over time it became a bigger part of my life. Eventually, my coach was offered an opportunity to move to the Gold Coast, and my family made the decision to move as well so I could continue training under them. That move was a big turning point for me, as it not only pushed my swimming further but also brought me to where I am now.
Growing up in Tasmania, I was used to a quieter, more rural lifestyle with a smaller population. Moving to the Gold Coast was a big change, with more people, a faster pace, and a very different environment. One of the best parts has been living so close to the beach—I’m now only about three minutes away, which is something I’ve really come to appreciate.
Living on the Gold Coast, I continued to train and compete, taking part in multiple championships across Australia. Through that experience, I developed a strong sense of discipline, commitment, and the ability to manage pressure and balance different priorities.
In 2023, I decided to make Nationals my final competition so I could start focusing on working towards a career. I then completed school in 2024 and began looking ahead to my next steps.
Having grown up around sport, I’ve always been interested in pursuing a career in a sports-related field. My experiences, especially through swimming, have played a big role in shaping that interest and giving me the mindset and skills to work towards it.
