Yet another new Australian and Oceania record, Pearson’s performance is the fourth best ever on the all-time list and the fastest time in the event since Ludmila Narozhilenko clocked 12.28 in 1992.
She is the Australian 100m hurdles record holder, the 100m hurdles Commonwealth champion, the 100m hurdles Beijing Olympics silver medallist and now adds an Olympic Gold Medal from London to her magnificant achievements.
Dani Stevens (nee Samuels): in 2009, She became the youngest ever female world champion in the womens Discus. She is the Australian & Oceanic record holder.
After winning the discus gold and shot put bronze medals at the 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics, she went on to win the bronze medal in the discus at the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games at the age of seventeen. She reached the final of the 2008 Beijin Olympics and improved significantly the following year to win Gold in the 2009 World Championships. In 2017, Dani got Silver in the World Athletics Championships.
