Hannah’s Story:
I was born in Maffra, a small country town in South-East Victoria. At 18, I moved to Melbourne to attend university, and in 2020, during the pandemic, I relocated to Queensland to complete my postgraduate studies. Ever since I was 15, I’ve known that I wanted to become a physiotherapist — it’s been a long-term goal and one I’m proud to have achieved.
Growing up, my older brother and I were heavily involved in sport, often travelling long distances to compete at higher levels. Our amazing parents spent countless hours driving us to training and games, often making the three-hour trip to Melbourne on weekends. I think I spent more time in the car than on the court!
My dad runs his own business as an electrician, and my mum operates her own retail business, so between their work and ferrying us around, they were always on the go. My family still lives in Victoria, and although I’m based in Queensland now, I make sure to visit whenever I can.
I absolutely love being part of the Gold Coast Physio & Sports Health team. It’s incredibly rewarding to support athletes, share my passion for learning, and work alongside such a talented group of physiotherapists.
