Gold Coast Running Technique
Gold Coast Physio & Sports Health Director, and Sports & Exercise Physio, Britt Caling, conducts running technique clinics, at Pizzey Park Athletics Track, Miami, every Saturday.
Combine drills & technique cues with an interval track run session to improve your running!
These sessions provide runners of all levels the opportunity to benefit from expert knowledge of sound running techniques, injuries, biomechanics and the research behind running.
Physio Britt has been running these clinics since 2010 and has worked with elite runners and triathletes for over 25years. She is an avid Trail Runner of the past 20years and loves helping runners make running feel easier!

Who is it for?
All running levels are welcome. Run Technique sessions are focused on running drills and providing feedback on the area’s YOU can improve to make your running better.
You do not need to be running fit to attend these sessions, but if you’d like to improve your fitness- or if you are already a technically sound runner and want a quality track run session- then join us after warm-up and drills for an interval run training session.
Youth athletes are welcome to attend as young as 11yrs but must be able to follow instructions and run at least 4km to complete the whole session.

Run Session Information
Time: 7:00am-8:30am
Duration: The session is as follows:
- jog 1.5km warm-up as a group (with an option for less distance or a walk warm-up for anyone carrying an injury or unfit to run),
- 30-40min of drills and technique focussed running,
- then you are welcome to join a track run session that will be prescribed to help improve your running fitness and give you the opportunity to work on your new technique cues and run form (this is optional and will consist of intervals from 100m up to 2km, for a total set of 3-4km of running).
Dates: Saturday mornings 7am (unless listed otherwise below)

Location: Pizzey Park Athletics Track at Pizzey Drive (off Oceanic Drive), Miami. The track is adjacent to the Australian Institute of Sport/ Paddle Australia Gold Coast Facility on the canal (note: this is NOT at the Miami Aquatic Centre but the other side of the fields).
