Nicole Holling

Nicole is an experienced Clinical Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and Diabetes Educator and has always enjoyed working in both medical and sports settings. She founded Ascent Nutrition, Sports & Diabetes in 2018 and provides consults on the Gold Coast and via Telehealth.

Nicole grew up and studied in New Zealand and is still very much a kiwi at heart. She ventured to Australia in 2018 for warmer climes and is truly warm blooded now and settled on the Gold Coast.

She enjoys many sports and over the years has competed in swimming, surf lifesaving, soccer, rugby, triathlon, road cycling, mountain biking, kayak racing, trail running, multisport and adventure / expedition racing.

Highlights include; 9th place Coast to Coast 2012, Athens Marathon finisher 2017, 6th place XPD 5 day adventure race 2021, 4th place world 100hr rogaine champs Rogue 100 2022, Female Rogainer of the Year QLD 2021 and her multiple week-long cycle tours around Europe and Australia.

Nicole and husband Cameron now enjoy a slower pace of life (in some ways!), enjoying all the great parks and water activities on the Gold Coast with their little boy George and pup Merlo.
