Sports & Exercise Medicine at Gold Coast Physio & Sports Health

Sports and Exercise Medicine is the discipline that addresses medical conditions and injuries that occur in those who wish to participate in sport or to exercise in other ways. It also covers the role of physical activity in the treatment and prevention of illness.

Your GP or Physio may need additional help in managing some of your injury concerns, so they ask you to seek an appointment with a specialist Sports & Exercise Physician to assist in the Assessment, Diagnosis, ordering of Images such as MRI, Xray, Ultrasound, CT or other procedures, or directly a managing plan to help you achieve your goals.
