Katie’s Story

Born on the Sunshine Coast, I started playing football at 9 years old and played for Sunshine Coast rep teams from U17’s through to open women which lead me to have a strong interest in the sports and health industry. Studied my Diploma of Remedial Massage on the Sunshine Coast 2007-2008 part-time and worked in a Chiropractic centre and a sports physio at Cotton Tree, then moved to the Gold Coast in December 2008 and started working at Gold Coast Physio & Sports Healht in 2009.

I have had many great opportunities and experiences working for GCPSH over the years and highlights would be treating football team Melbourne Heart (A-league) while they were on the GC and being involved with multiple Gold Coast Marathon and triathlon post event massage for elite age group athletes and much more.

I became a mum in 2012 with the birth of my son Lewis and started teaching Pilates. In 2015 our daughter Aubrey arrived and my passion for women’s health and fitness has lead me to now teaching pre and post-natal Pilates and providing remedial massage for pregnant and post-natal women.

I Currently play Soccer for Southport Warriors football club in the open women’s side and love being fit and healthy, and a great mum to my 2 children.
