Abra has experience working with young people and high functioning professionals/students struggling with stress, emotional health, anxiety, wellbeing, pain/injury recovery, performance (sport/exam/other), work life balance and lifestyle coaching.

Abra is a Sport Psychologist- performance consultant, mental coach, therapist and educator for professional and amateur athletes, performers, coaches and leaders. Abra is the founder of Summit Performance Psychology and the Athlete Recovery Academy. Summit and ARA provide wellbeing, performance, injury recovery and leadership services.

Abra is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and an endorsed sport psychologist with the Australian College of Sport and Exercise Psychology. His experience ranges from; wellbeing consultant for the AFL Players Association, lead psychologist for Squash Australia, BMX QLD, Artistic Swimming and a service provider for Swimming Australia and the QAS. Abra works with WorkCover, DVA and first responders organisations.

Abra is a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, university guest lecturer/tutor, writer and resource developer and works in for teams and organisations in sport, schools and high performance industries.

Abra draws on personal experience competing at the international level in sport for over ten years and performing live music. He has won 3 silver medal for Australia at the World Ultimate Frisbee Championships in Peth, London and Cincinnati.

-We help high performance people cope with tough life events, transition, injury, mental health issues, relationship issues, stress, unhealthy behaviours and the balance between performance and the rest of life. Summit Performance Psychology provides wellbeing workshops for organizations.

Peak Performance Under Pressure

– We help to build the mental toughness and resilience necessary to cope with performance pressure through performance coaching (mental skills training, goal setting, performance profiling, etc.)

Team and Leadership Building

-We can assist sports organisations and other high performance organisations to develop leadership skills, such as team guiding principles and group motivation, that enhance team performance in an atmosphere conducive to participation and excellence. We also provide leadership skills training to coaches, personal trainers, captains and performers.
